The Cabinet Making and Timber Technology qualification is designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in the woodworking industry, specifically in the fields of cabinetry, furniture making, and timber technology.

This qualification will be delivered over 101 weeks, including 80 weeks of training and assessment and up to 21 weeks of holidays
Humber College has the following entry requirements in place for students:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Participate in a course entry interview (pre-enrolment review) to determine suitability of the course and additional support needs – Refer to Pre-training Review section on the following page
- Undertake Humber College’s ACSF LLND Level 3 Assessment
- Must not be a primary applicant and a student visa holder (sub class 500)
JOB ROLES
Workers with this qualification have tradesperson-level skills in the manufacture and/or installation of products, including furniture and cabinetry, made from timber and other materials.
Pathways
Graduates of this course may wish to continue their education in MSF40318
Certificate IV in Kitchen and Bathroom Design.
