TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (Coming Soon)

This qualification defines the skills and knowledge required for road transport trainers who will be training individuals or groups in cars, heavy vehicles or motorcycles.This qualification is not for the public to gain a driver’s licence.

 

Mode of delivery

This program is delivered as Classroom based – face-to-face.

Duration

Students will have up to six (6) months to complete the qualification. Students will be required to attend a minimum of 38 sessions over 19 weeks face-to-face including group and one-on-one training and assessment.

Entry requirements – Humber College has the following entry requirements in place for students:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Participate in a course entry interview (pre-enrolment review) to determine suitability of the course and additional support needs – Refer to Pre-training Review section on the following page
  • Undertake Humber College’s ACSF LLND Level 3 Assessment
  • Must not be a primary applicant and a student visa holder (sub class 500)
  • Must have held your heavy rigid (class HR) or heavy combination (class HC) licence for at least 1 year unless an exemption letter is provided by QLD Government’s Transport and Mains Roads department.

Qualification Structure

Completion of total number of 11 units are required for the award of the TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training for specialisation in Heavy Vehicle.
